F O O D S (and a drink, lol). My submission for a challenge in Pixel Art Indonesia FB group. Some of these are Indonesian food (martabak & jalangkote), and some more (corn dog, dates, iced tea) is worldwide known. Very nice palette I must say, it was a fun experiment. Hope you enjoy!! - by Nora Ko

Sampled from a genuine Apple Macintosh CRT in 2021, it uses the light blue and faded black to carry 1bit art in the closest you can get to looking at an Apple Macintosh screen's colours without sitting in front of one. Take note that the colours are sampled from a daylight photograph of actual hardware then manually adjusted to best match the image, and is thus a representation of how the art displays as opposed to how it's recorded in software (which definitely would've been true black or white). Anyone has permission to use this palette for any purpose.

A very simple 4 colour palette. I use the dark and bright colours for main 1-bit structures and the blue/teal and orange for accents

This palette is a simple 13 color palette. All the colors are more desaturated and work well together. It's my favorite palette I've made! I'm going to use it for a game!
The two most left images are sprites and tiles for my game mockup. The last image is simply a checken and an egg.
This gives a better view of my game mockup with the colors.

A surprisingly versatile four-colour palette.

Itβs 4:37 a.m. Youβve just woke up and the sun hasnβt even made an intention of rising. Going back to bed is impossible. You feel your stomach complaining, announcing a dooming morning starvation, but the drowsiness is such you can barely move. You look for the easiest thing to cook. You make soft-boiled eggs. Jokes apart, this 3 color palette is meant to be simple and fulfilling, just like eggs. Whatever you are not able to do with it, rely on negative spaces and context assumption to fill in the blanks.
